Year 5 & 6 Rodney school children are invited by Hibiscus Coast Writers to participate

Val Shearer Memorial Trophy - Children's Writing Competition
Students may enter ANY 3 of the categories: Fiction, Non-Fiction (own personal experience) & Poetry. (Max 3 entries, in any category)
NB: Students must submit one of each category to be eligible for the overall winner title.
Entry Fee: $5.00 per student (for one or more entries)
Word count for Fiction & Non-Fiction: min 400 - max 700
Entries MUST be typed, not handwritten (encourage children to save a digital copy for possible publicaiton later on)
Post folio to: 5 Lagoon View Drive, Gulf Harbour, 0930. Entries will not be returned.
Closing date: Friday, 13th September, 2013.
