FAB FABLES Writing Workshop - Whangaparaoa Library
FAB FABLES Writing Workshop for 8-12 year olds, held at the
Whangaparaoa Library on Thursday 18th July from 10 – 12pm with award
winning author Maria Gill, www.mariagill.co.nz
. Students learn tips on how to write exciting beginnings, create suspense in
the middle of their story, and close with a fab ending. Costs $20 pp includes

Kelly Sports and Kelly
Club will be running an excellent July Holiday programme from 3 venues Red
Beach School, Orewa Primary, and Stanmore Bay School. We have some
awesome activities planned, including Sports Competitions, Cooking, Wheels
days, Amazing Races, plus fantastic trips to Extreme Edge Rock Climbing and The
Movies. The programme for 5-12 year olds runs from the 15th –
26th July (excluding weekends) and operates 8am-6pm. For more

Volunteer Planting Day 2013 - Shakespear Regional Park
Here's a great opportunity to make a difference to Auckland's parks. Bring your family and friends and help us enhance your Regional Parks. Each plant was grown from seeds collected here at Shakespear, with the help of Shakespear Open Sanctuary Society Inc.

Jammies for June
Middlemore hospital is running a community drive to help to get warm flannette pj's for the sick kids that end up staying in hospital.
Would you like to help by donating a pair of NEW winter PJ's to be given to a child in need. Flannette pj's are often seen as a luxury item for some of these kids. They are looking for all sizes from 1 to 15 years.
If you would like to donate please leave your pj's at the school office and they will be delivered by the end of June to Middlemore Hospital.
