Kelly Sports Touch & Turbo

Kelly Sports is excited to be working with the Silverdale Rugby Club to bring you a Touch and Turbo Touch competition for all ages and abilities, in term 4 at the Silverdale Rugby Club.  The cost for the competition is $35 per child for year 1-13 students and any team that enters as a whole team will go into a draw to win their teams fees back as well as winning a fantastic prize pack including balls, drink bottles, wristbands and more.  The cost for adult teams is $500 per team, with a 10% discount for managers that enter more than one team and a 15% discount for teams that enter in both the touch and turbo touch competition.

Special Needs TRY-athlon

Come along and support, or enter your special needs child in this fantastic event.  The indoor event consists of swimming 2 laps of the 25m pool (swim aid equipment available), then heading to the stadium with a four lap cycle, and ending with a 2 lap run.

Epilepsy North Shore Support Trust Database

Hibiscus Coast Kindergarten Ducky Derby

This is the fourth year we have run the successful event which involves the racing of plastic ducks on the estuary. There will be great prizes for the first 3 ducks to cross the finish line. There will be spot prizes, raffles, bouncy castles, kiddie cars and lots of food and a great family atmosphere. The event is being held:

Homestay Thank you!

Thank you so much to all the families that put up their hands to host two Japanese girls that will spend time at our school at the end of August. I was overwhelmed with your readiness to help out and invite a young girl to be part of your families for two weeks. 

Very quickly I found myself in the situation of having to turn down people, because we found two homestay families. If that has happened to you, I hope you are not disappointed and I would love to match you up with an international student in the future, if you are still interested. In any case I am keeping you in mind in case I need further backup.

You Gulf Harbour people are simply lovely!

Urgent Help Needed Please

We are desperately looking for two families that can host a Japanese girl, aged 14 or 15, from August 20th to September 4th. 
If you are interested and have a room for the student in your house, children living with you - at least one of them has to be a girl - please, contact d.goodall@ghs.school.nz as soon as possible.
The homestay fee is $220.00 per week - 7 nights.
You don't have to have children at Gulf Harbour School, but you should be able to drop off and pick up the student in the morning and the afternoon.
