Angel Walk - Sunday 2nd March, 2014

What's happening at Angel Walk?

Sunday 2 March 2014

Happy New Year everyone! We thought it would be a good idea to let you know all the exciting things that will be happening at Angel Walk this year.

As always, Angel Walk takes place on Children's Day and on the morning of Sunday 2 March 2014 we will be walking (or cycling) around the beautiful Te Ara Tahuna estuary walkway in Orewa. After the walk everyone is invited to the Family Funday at Western Reserve.

The walk is always heaps of fun with lots of people dressing up, the themes are purple, rainbows, angels and butterflies. Start thinking about your costume now as there are prizes for "Best Dressed Up" kids and adults. If you need inspiration, take a look at the photos from previous years, dust off your butterfly wings and feather boas and let's have some fun!

This year at the Family Funday we have fantastic children's rides, fabulous entertainment, great food stalls including home-baking and sushi plus the best face painting for miles around. It's a great family day out for a good cause so make sure you're there!

jump online and buy tickets today

Online bookings are open now. Buy your ticket before Fri 7 Feb and go in the draw to win a fabulous family book pack worth $200!

Travel in style...

The wonderful folks at Bayes Coaches have donated us two luxury air conditioned coaches for the event. So if you're wanting to do the 2km route you can now travel in style back to the Family Funday. Thank you Bayes!

Our Inspiration

Angel Walk is inspired by Kiara Morgan a beautiful angel who lost her long battle with cancer just before her 5th birthday. She was an amazing little girl with a big heart and a generous spirit. Read Kiara's story.

The Cause

Every week in New Zealand three families are told their child has cancer. By providing much needed help and support on a day to day basis from diagnosis onwards the Child Cancer Foundation ensures each child and their family will never feel alone. Angel Walk raises funds for the Child Cancer Foundation in Kiara's memory.
